There is something 'immoral' and 'sinful' about going against your 'conscious' or 'instinct'.  When this moment occurs then a 'righteous man' invokes his ancestors and their traditions and asks himself:

"How Can I Turn Against That Which Made Me?"

If you can summon the 'Spirit and Memories' of your ancestors then they have never left you.  And the wisdom and strength that they inspire will come to your aid and you will see yourself safely through anything that is 'immoral' or 'sinful'.

In short, always trust your 'conscious' or 'instinct'.
